The Pharmacovigilance Unit of the Centre Region (UFC) is a Regional Unit of the National Pharmacovigilance System which is supported through a contract with the National Authority of Medicines and Health Products (INFARMED, IP).

This Unit provides mainly the following services:

• Receiving, processing and validation of spontaneous reports of suspected adverse events, including the process of determining the causal link
• Promote the reporting of adverse events
• Submit proposals for pharmacoepidemiology studies
