Health Technology Assessment

This unit provides scientific information to support the decision making in healthcare policy and practice. Health Technology Assessment (HTA) studies are necessary to ensure equity in the access to medicines and the most favourable benefit/risk and cost/effectiveness ratios in the drug use process. 

Coimbra Ophthalmology Reading Centre

The Coimbra Ophthalmology Reading Center (CORC) focus its activities in grading fundus photographs and OCT images of the retina, and functional evaluations of the retina using mfERG.
