The Quality Management Unit (UGQ) is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of quality systems in AIBILI, thereby ensuring a continual improvement. Internal auditing is a guarantee that quality procedures are followed at AIBILI complying with ISO 9001, ICH GCP - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, OCDE Principles of GLP - Good Laboratory Practice and national legislation.

AIBILI is certified by ISO 9001:2008 for the following activities:

• research and development of new technologies for medicine in the areas of light, image and optics
• pre-clinical studies of new molecules with potential clinical application
• clinical trials
• clinical pharmacology studies
• planning, coordination, execution and monitoring of clinical research activities
• health technology assessment

AIBILI has a quality manual stating its quality management system, that it has the necessary resources to provide the services that will meet the needs and expectations of our clients.

It has a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual which contains general SOP of AIBILI and specific SOP for each process, in compliance with ISO 9001, GLP Guidelines and GCP Guidelines.

The Quality Management Unit aims to assure that the quality management system is maintained effective and efficient permitting a continual improvement, and that data obtained in AIBILI is technically valid and reliable.
